The secrecy of your secrets depends on your password. If you forget your password, you will lose access to your secrets.

What is this?

The fingerprint should match the one the recipient got when they created their account. Different fingerprints mean that you entered the wrong username or somebody manipulated the account of the recipient and will be able to read the secret.
